Racing against Cancer: Racing driver Alexander Toril supports Elterninitiative Kinderkrebsklinik e.V.
Düsseldorf, DATE – The racing season of 2017 will take place under special circumstances for Alexander Toril. In cooperation with the Heinrich-Heine-University Uni-Klinikum and Elterninitiative Kinderkrebsklinik e.V. the Spanish racing driver living in Düsseldorf starts a charity project called Racing against Cancer. In solidarity with the project Alex will race the entire season with a neon-pink-coloured helmet in several racing series across Europe. At the end of the year, Alex will raffle his helmet between all the people who donated to Racing against Cancer.
“Together with the Uni-Klinikum and the Elterninitiative Kinderkrebsklinik e.V. we built a website to donate. At the end of the year I´ll give away my helmet as a thank you message for the donations. All collected money will go to the childrens´station in the Uni-Klinikum.We´re happy to support the ward and it´s little patients”, Toril summarized the charity project.
Toril is racing in GT-sports since 2015. He finished the Porsche Supercup in 24th position and took 13rd place in Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. In 2016, Toril raced the legendary 24 hours of Nürburgring and won class SP7. In January 2017 another class victory was added to his biography at the 24 hours of Dubai.
